Friday Favorites {Spring Bucket List}

Hey hey, it’s Friday! It’s been one of those weeks where I have been waiting all week for Friday. My husband has been sick for a few days, a pipe under our bathroom sink broke, we had to run to the tire shop for new tires for my car, and sleep has still been elusive, so I’m super glad Friday is here!

Teaming up with Andrea and Erika for a Friday Favorites linkup! Thought it would be fun to start this series again 🙂

I’ve been thinking and dreaming about all the things we can do now that COVID restrictions have eased up and while the weather is nice. It’s Spring and it’s time for a quick bucket list for our family! I used to get really bummed out if I created a bucket list for our family and then we didn’t do much on the list but now I realize it’s just fun to think about what we can do and realize sometimes life just gets in the way and that’s ok!

Here are five of our favorite things on our Spring Bucket List:

Visit The Living Desert

We have taken the kids to Wild Lights (the after dark Christmas celebration) before but we haven’t visited during the day to see the animals, so I’m looking forward to doing that and feeding giraffes there too!

Hike at Indian Canyon or Tahquitz Canyon

I enjoy hiking and have really wanted to bring the kids on a hike for the longest time. I’m hoping they love it and we can do it more often. These two hikes are not too far from us and I think it would be doable for them.

Spend the Day at The Southern California Railway Museum

The kids looove trains and I think they would love visiting the railway museum. There are vintage trains there and I can’t wait to hear Donovan’s little voice saying, “Choo choo!”

Go On a Picnic

Chase has been asking to go on a picnic for the longest time so this is definitely one thing we need to do while the weather is nice. We used to do more picnics at the park when Chase was little but it’s been a minute. One of our favorite things to do this time of year.

Take a Family Photo

I’m crossing my fingers for this one! The kiddos don’t like taking photos and it always seems like chaos to get us all dressed and ready and keep the kids clean before we get an actual photo taken. I tried on Easter but ended up with pictures like this one! I’m laughing and probably shouldn’t even post this lol so hopefully we can get one good one this Spring!

Do you create seasonal bucket lists? What’s on your list for Spring?

Thanks for reading, friends! Hope you have a great weekend!
