I wanted to share some great options for online Bible studies for the winter season. I honestly love these online communities and if you’re not connected to a study at your church or small group, I highly recommend getting involved in one of these studies. You can do them in your home, so if childcare is usually an issue, these can be done during naptimes, etc.

1. “His Name Is…” by Love God Greatly: A four week Advent study beginning November 27. You will need the study guide (and they even have a corresponding kids journal-great to do as a family!). Love God Greatly is an online community that blogs through each study and provides resources to aid in your study. You can find out more HERE.
2. “The Beauty of Jesus Revealed in the Feasts” by Darlene Schacht & Daniel Krebs: It is a seven week study beginning on November 20. This would take you through the holiday season and into the new year. There is a study guide and book available and she provides printables on her blog, as well as videos and answers to the study questions. Find out more HERE.
3. “Because of Bethlehem” by Max Lucado (Hosted by FaithGateway): A four week Advent study beginning December 3. You will need the study guide but the videos will be available throughout the month of December so that you can study at your own pace. Find out more HERE.   
4. “Discerning the Voice of God” by Priscilla Shirer (Hosted by Lifeway Women): A seven week study beginning January 18th. You will need the study book but the videos will be offered for free (which is a great perk!). If the holidays are too busy to join a study this is a great option (and a great way to start off the new year!).
