Summer Fun (+ Printable Bucket Lists!)

Is it just me or does anyone else have this desire to make this summer the best one yet?! Maybe it’s because last summer was mid-pandemic and we stayed home all summer or because I realize how few summers there are with my kiddos before they are grown! This summer I’m determined to HAVE FUN!

Our theme this month is fun so I’ve created two printable bucket lists to help kickstart some ideas! While we want to make memories and have a great time with our families, it’s also important for us to have some fun on our own as well. So below is one bucket list for the family and one for you, Mama!

Here are some of my favorite highlights from the lists!

Go Swimming

Whether it’s a kiddie pool, a community pool, or your own backyard pool have fun splashing around with the kiddos!

Go Camping

Camping has always been a summer favorite for our family. S’mores, campfires, playing in the river all day, sleeping in tents… so many fun memories!

Start a Summer Bullet Journal

Sometimes you just need some time to be creative, doodle, and have fun expressing yourself! There are tons and tons of ideas on Pinterest for bullet journals, so you can use that to kickstart some ideas. Use the journal to document your summer adventures, journal through your feelings, list the movies and fun things you find/watch, or keep track of all your fun plans!

Try a New Activity

Maybe you’ve always wanted to try your hand at kayaking (guilty!) or pottery. Why not finally give it a try? You might find you totally love it! Don’t worry about being a professional; enjoy being an amateur!

Experiment With a Fun Cocktail or Summer Drink

Try your hand at inventing a refreshing summer drink! Or go for an old favorite (lemonade, anyone?). Whether it’s a Starbucks refresher or a pina colada, take a little time to take a breath, sip on your festive drink and enjoy!

I hope you have a memorable and amazingly fun summer! Do you have plans for summer? Share them with me in the comments!
